About Me

I've been creating art for as long as I can remember but my first conscious attempt came around high school when one of my best friend's needed help with a film project. I had never considered film making until that shoot, and I don't know if you could actually consider what we did film making, all I knew was it was a blast to make - it all seemed like magic. That experience propelled me into the inspirational and amazing world of stupid-short-films-with-friends-beating-up-on-friends-to-music. It was beautiful.

Wanting more I sought out ways to improve so that we could beat up Ben in more interesting and elaborate ways, eventually finding myself in the Theater department at El Camino Community College. Arriving to Ron Scarlata's blackbox in room 151 was another pivotal point in my life. Learning that there was much more to performance then beating Ben up I discovered my love for creating and telling new and interesting stories.

Chicago was the third revelatory spark to shift my life dramatically. Everything about my time living in Chicago was amazing, ironically except for almost everything I did at Second City. Working at the biggest theater in the heart of downtown Chicago, where they held the International Film Festival, really put the performance art industry into perspective. My time in Chicago really solidified my intention and direction for the kind of art that I wanted to make.

After a few years creating and not getting anywhere I decided to start studying on something else. I slowly started to discover the truth of the world. After accidentally discovering witchcraft is legit I began to question if The Bible is also real. I prayed to Jesus to make The Bible even more interesting than The Lord of the Rings and my life was changed. The Bible is way better than Lord of the Rings, did you know LOTR is inspired by The Bible? I dove headfirst and finally, I came to the truth that Jesus is God and only through His sacrifice and resurrection can our sins be forgiven. My life was significantly altered, I was born again, made into a new creature. Now I pray for inspiration, everything I make is inspired by my King, my God, my savior, Jesus Christ. My mission is to utilize my talents to serve Him with the express goal in inspiring others to draw closer to Him.
